Correption explains how corruption, conflicts of interest and weak oversight work — and what transparency, whistle-blower protection and accountability rules can do about them.
What we do

- Summarise widely reported public cases, laws and research, and say what they illustrate
- Discuss reforms, transparency tools and the rights of people who report wrongdoing
What we do not do
Correption is a commentary and explainer site, not an investigative newsroom. We do not conduct investigations, obtain documents, interview sources, publish new allegations or name private individuals. We do not have a dedicated fact-checking team; we rely on public sources and correct errors when readers point them out. Nothing on the site is legal advice — if you are considering reporting wrongdoing, speak to a qualified lawyer or an official whistle-blower body first.
Who writes here
Articles are researched, written and updated by the Correption Editorial Desk — the editorial team behind Correption. We publish under the desk name rather than invented personal bylines. We do not claim professional credentials we do not hold, and we do not present scenarios as documented personal case files.
How we work
- We explain topics using widely available, checkable sources and say so when something is general guidance rather than advice for your situation.
- Some older articles are written as first-person or illustrative narratives. Treat them as explanatory stories, not as verified reports or testimonials.
- We correct mistakes when readers point them out. See the editorial policy and the disclaimer.
- The site is free to read and supported by advertising (Google AdSense). Advertisers do not choose or review our articles.
