Editorial policy
Correption is written and maintained by the Correption Editorial Desk. This page explains how we work so you can judge what you read.
What we publish
Explainers and commentary about corruption, transparency, ethics and accountability in government, business and society, based on publicly available reporting, laws and research. We do not publish original investigations or new allegations.
Sources and accuracy
We base explanations on widely available, checkable information (official bodies, manufacturers or publishers, reference works and reputable reporting). We avoid invented statistics, fake reviews and claims of testing we did not do. When something is general guidance, we say so.
Narrative articles
Some of our older articles are written as first-person or story-style narratives to make a topic easier to follow. They are illustrative, not documented case reports, testimonials or personal endorsements, and names or details in them should not be read as real people or verified events.
Bylines
Articles are credited to the Correption Editorial Desk. We do not use invented author personas or claim professional qualifications.
Corrections
If you find an error, email social@correption.com with the page link. We review reports and update or correct the article where needed.
Advertising and independence
The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense, clearly labelled “Advertisement”. Advertisers do not commission, review or approve our articles, and we do not accept payment for coverage.
